Hospital Case Mangers: An Essential Partner in Arranging a Medical Transport

The Case Managers Society of America (CMSA) held its 25th Annual Conference & Expo on June 23rd through June 26th in Orlando, Florida. It was an epic event where case managers from around the nation descended upon Orlando to celebrate 25 years of case management growth and advancement as an essential health care practice.

Our medical leadership attended and has presented at several other CMSA conferences: National CMSA Conference in Cleveland, Ohio in June 2014; CMSA South Florida Conference in October 2014; and most recently, CMSA South Florida Conference in July 2014.

A case manager is a health care professional that provides an array of services to help individuals and families cope with complicated health or medical situations in the most effective way possible. They act as advocates and resources for the patient in a special situation, such as when a patient is uninsured, underinsured or in need of a medical repatriation.

Over the years, SentinelMED has had the opportunity to work with a vast array of case managers from all over the country.  Hospitals rely on SentinelMED to safely bring patients to and from their facilities, while making all logistical and in-flight medical arrangements at a reasonable cost. Case managers play a vital role in this process and the medical industry at large, which cannot be understated. SentinelMED values its relationship with hospital case managers and stands ready to assist when patients need long-distance medical transport or repatriation services.

Arrange an Affordable Commercial Air Medical Transport Service

Our signature service is cost effective, bed-to-bed medical transfers using commercial airlines and medical escorts in lieu of air ambulances. SentinelMED can arrange stretchers, fully reclining seating and even mechanical ventilation for patients on international flights. We do all this at a fraction of the cost of an air ambulance, with appropriate support from our trained medical escorts and airline medical departments. Please contact us if you are a hospital case manager or you believe a hospital case manager at your facility would be interested in learning more about our services and staff.
